SS payment for fourth week already pending!

So my bank is showing the deposit as pending. No need to panic which is what I think the bastards (The powers that should never be, but sadly are) want. When we operate from fear or paranoia, they have us right where they want us.

However if they are bamboozling you, it's an entirely different story.

3. Aren't they always pending until the date they're supposed to be issued?

For instance, if my payment is to be paid on the 24th, and it arrives on the 22nd, it shows up in my account as ""pending" , meaning I can't access that money. On the 24th it is no longer pending and is available.

7. Mine is formally due on the 2nd Wednesday, but ny bank

will memo-post on Tuesday and show it as "available". So every Tuesday before the 2nd Wednesday is when I get to look at it for a few minutes before I start shipping most of it off to everyone else.

In by nine, out by five. Talk about bankers' hours.

6. My guess is that thousands of people on SS don't get their checks each month

for various reasons. Maybe even some DUers. So why should we automatically attribute missing checks to Musk? Has anybody here yet have a missing SS check because of Musk and Doge? It does seem a little paranoid for DUers to be posting and asking each month if everyone has received their SS check without some proof that it's out of the ordinary.
