1. I'm an older woman who's been voting in the same polling place for years and years

I can’t see the older women who staff this place asking me to prove my citizenship.

. . .and while we normally confirm name, residence, and voting district (with a board-of-elections officlal around as back-up if need be), we've NEVER asked for proof of citizenship. That is a given.
