15. The real story of today's news is

Europe has had enough of Trump and he has only been in office one month. They believed their best course 2017-2020 was to kiss his ass, flatter him, and never, ever contradict him. That deference (in part) got Trump re-elected, and got the Europeans a very real possibility of another pan-European war where the US will not lift a finger to help.

So, they have had enough. We will see them openly critical of him from now on, just as they did by splitting with the US at the UN today. This is a major inflection point, and I don't think Trump could do anything to walk this back, even if he wanted to.

Other than Bernie, AOC, Chris Murphy, Jamie Raskin and a few others, the Democratic party leadership has been mostly silent through this first 30 days. Well, they cannot lay low any more (as James Carville advises). They have to decide whether we are with Europe or we are with Russia, Hungary, Belarus and North Korea.

The entire Democratic Party had better come our perfectly clear on this one ASAP, and then focus the cameras on every elected Republican in DC.
