New DeNiro series on Netflix is a political thriller that is excellent with some references to today's environment.

11. We certainly need that kind of sacrifice now from both sides of the aisle. Based on last nights votes on the budget

proposal where Dems forced Republicans to vote on amendments to prohibit giving tax cuts to billionaires, and not cutting Medicare/Medicaid, no Republican can be found to make a personal sacrifice.

6. The plot is downright quaint compared to what is happening now.

I’m sure it seemed like an extreme worst case scenario fictional situation when they were writing it. But we now know how much worse it is when politicians team up with tech billionaires.

It was a really compelling well- done series. I cringed at the “both sides-ing” of the bad guys. I guess they have to do that if they want a wide range of viewers.

In fact you can cancel as soon as your payment/subscription goes through and still keep access for the month (so that you don't forget).

Compared to other streaming services (or the ad-less or other tiers of Netflix options), that is pretty reasonable.
