watch Nicole Wallace, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell. MSNBC made a big mistake. Those "weekend" people are ridiculous to watch. I only did it twice. That was enough. Oh, I do like Ali Velshi, too.

They have kept me sane for many years. They are the only truth tellers, Network- wise. They are my “best friends” next to my “real life” friends.

Jen Psaki is only okay.

I thought Joy's hour was the weakest link in the evening line up. I wish they had found a different slot for Joy Reid. Some have suggested "Joy in the Morning" to replace Joe and Mika. I wouldhave been fine w/ losing Joe and Mika.

The Weekend trio format as a panel works, but I find Symone to be a distraction. When she wasn't there, I found the interaction and discussion between Michael Steele and Alicia Mendenez to be more interesting. One weekend they tried some fill in people - that worked also.

Some of the anchors and analysts/experts became my "friends" during Covid and throughout the political chaos of the last eight years. A little sanity and some brilliant minds to learn from.

MSNBC isn't perfect, but it the only option for televised news and information, right now.

It's hard to explain some of the changes they've made. But it's also true that MSNBC is the best we've got for TV--and I mean progressive television that is influential. Free Speech TV is great but not as many people watch it. The Progress channel on SiriusXM is fantastic, but again it's costly with fewer listeners.

I'm not crazy about the idea of the panel, or the panelists for that matter. Although, Michael Steele has grown on me since November because I think he is taking everything more seriously. I also appreciated him getting real with Joe Scarborough during their scrape on Morning Joe.

And hence $$$. She has a lot of power. And if they were to fire her, they know another network would rush to sign her up, so they’d have to compete against her.

Trump isn’t going to have any more success if he goes up against her than he did in any of his other ventures.

They are surrendering to the fascist coup thinking they will be saved from the blow back
of the shit storm we are in and “they” can make some big money too.

Btw if we are going down we need to go down fighting. DEI just means not being a dick
to people who might not look like you, think like you, have sex differently than you, or
speaks a different language than you. If you have a problem with DEI then the problem
is with you not with DEI aka shove you bigotry up your ass.

I am not clear on how dumping four news analysts (especially with the very poor optic that they all are non-white) protects Rachel Maddow, especially since Maddow had managed to reduce her appearance to one night a week. Seems to me more like ill-disguised racism. Those four will have trouble finding comparable jobs. And, frankly, if Maddow were dumped by MSNBC, she's have a lot of trouble finding a comparable job (comparable to her star billing and paycheck).
