I'm really starting to like Bernie Sanders a lot.

Even though I've never supported him for a presidential nomination. I'm very impressed with the way he's speaking out.

I apologize for the Xitter link.

Bernie could do the job. By the time we think we're getting a new election, he can be in the spotlight (again.) I don't care how old he is. The Dems are gonna shove Newsom down our throats, but he isn't the only White male available. What about that handsome guy in Congress, can't think of his name, he's well spoken, too. He speaks up.

Of course, I prefer above all else, Secretary Pete. He has what it takes.

We just might as well accept that the Dems are going to pick a White male, no matter what we want. Otherwise, what about that Johnson dude in Tenn? He's got balls. How old is he?

Oh, Swalwel. Eric Swalwel, D-Ca. We could be Cascadia by then, but we'd come back if trump et al. get tossed to the curb, or Gitmo. Either works.

2. Bernie has been warning us about oligarchs for decades.

He was right back in the early 90's when we had a chance to curb their undue influence. This is the endgame. Good luck to the 99%. Didn't take 'em long to get to Ft. Knox.

6. I went door to door for Bernie in 2016 believing that his anti-oligarchy voice was important

Anti-oligarchy, anti-militarism. He lost by just 2% in Illinois.

But I voted with tears in my eyes for Hillary in the general, believing that I was voting for the first woman US president.
Took my son with me so that he could remember it too.

Voted with tears in my eyes for Kamala, believing that I was voting for the first woman US president.

I doubt I will be alive to see the first woman president.

whenever anything with Bernie is posted.

I posted it because I came across it on Xitter and was impressed with it. It wasn't posted as an accusation against other Democrats.

I wish people would move past primaries. I never supported him in a primary, but I can still appreciate him.

14. It's like how Democrats have been saying health care is a human right not a privilege for decades
Tue Feb 25, 2025, 06:42 PM

(Ted Kennedy giving many fiery speeches saying exactly that since the '60s) and Medicare for All had been up for a vote for years and suddenly it was insinuated that Democrats had no idea what universal health care was and thought it was a "radical idea" (accused with those exact words) and only one person had ever thought about it before. Same as Fight for Fifteen, movement for 15 dollar minimum wage that became a national movement, appropriated by one person as their idea. Passive-aggressive insinuation that Democrats aren't progressive and are corrupt just like Republicans is a big thing and still being used to suppress support for Democrats.
