Private Jets and today's near miss at Midway

Private jet use increased 30% in 2021 and 20% in 2022. The US has 2/3 of the world’s private jets. Is this simply far too many for our airports and air traffic controllers to handle? I don’t want a couple hundred people to die because some billionaire asshole had to go on a business golf trip! Is it time to rein this in.

Well the good news is those that will die can find comfort in that they died for tax breaks for the rich. dem4decades Feb 2025 #1

Tax breaks for the jets and tax breaks for the dangerous, underfunded, air traffic in the air.

We have business jets headed for Palwaukee airport in Wheeling flying over our house
frequently. Their glide path crosses directly under the one for O'Hare but fortunately they're
pretty low.
