I would certainly think this current political environment would rev up their engines.
I'm sure many talented intelligence workers have some free time? ( pure speculation any would be part of Anonymous )
But one could hope!

(2,472 posts)The group is ever changing and anyone can claim to be part of them. Its not like there is much organization to them. Much of the older ones are likely long gone and no longer active. The bulk of anon was always amateurs and younger people, and with how good digital tracking and tracing is now, it's a much higher risk to do anything now compared to how it was before. With the rise of digital threats and cybersecurity, a lot of them all got corporate or gov jobs as white hats. Many of these jobs are high paying so many aren't going to risk that. The up and coming talented ones might be adverse to doing anything that risks a future high paying career.
I'm sure there are still some out there willing to do things, but at this point I would assume that anyone claiming to be them is full of crap.
