I'm turning off home internet at 00:00

Join me. Keep it off as long as you can on Feb. 28. Saw the suggestion earlier this evening as a strike move to produce no economic activity.

Keep it off as long as you can today.
If you can't, that's ok.
Don't discourage others from demonstrating no cooperation today in this Manner.

Encourage people to do what they can.

It's like having the Library of Congress at my fingertips. And, for my aging eyes, the screen is easier to read than the printed page.

It's my paycheck basically.

And while I don't look at any one days sales, I like people to use my company. In support I will contine to use other companies. My normal hit list of things to do today isn't changing, and that includes my normal financial activity.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
