Zelensky should go to the EU and make a deal on the rare earth minerals with them. They in turn should back him 100% with whatever he needs. Cut the US out of the picture completely. Would Europe do it? or are they cowards too? If something isn't done, we will have a full fledged war in Europe and maybe Russia will be landing in Alaska. Today was a turning point. The world is either with Ukraine or they are not and if they are not start learning to speak Russian.
A shameful day for the US one that should live in infamy.

(8,833 posts)If you followed news more closely you would know. The EU is ramping up their military spending, already has offered a favorable deal to Ukraine regarding the purchase of their rare earth resources ( unlike Trump's offer its not a one sided blackmail deal).
France and England are willing to send troops in Ukraine and others will follow if the situation deteriorates.
After this shameful meeting, several EU leaders already denounced it saying they stand with Ukraine.

I think Trump and Vance's outbursts were massive shots in the feet. The masks are off, and there can be no excuse of illusions any more.
The noises in response so far don't sound like they're scared of Trump.
