It's a big country and a successful boycott needs to be focused and local and this boycott was neither, but was really meant for people to feel better and not helpless.

Including one from a guy still searching for his "disappeared gardener" that somehow manages to work in Che Guevara?

Here we are, anyway.

all the time.

They aren't :too big to fail and you can buy their stuff in many other places. If they go under, then others will notice.

By not buying today, we wanted to show them we could make a difference in their bottom line.

Our success comes when they look at the proceeds from today and see a big dip. They'll definitely notice that.

Anecdotally from DUers observations, today was business as usual in deep red areas, but in other places it seems like very few people were shopping. That will definitely show up as a scary moment for them on their balance sheets and trend lines.

I think it sounds like today was pretty successful.

and publicize the hell out of it. It's too easy to skip a day and buy or buy something a day before. Not sure we are really affecting the bottom line with just a day.
