Yes, Trump's behavior toward Zelenskyy was repulsive and abominable, but...

...look closer at it. Trump is that guy who's feeling it all slip away. Vance was the guy who did a lot of the talking. Trump had to jump in to show who was the actual boss, but floundered badly and then actually got so frustrated he physically shoved Zelenskyy, looking more like a cranky alte kocker than a strong man.

Musk has been stealing his thunder, and now Vance. He knows it's almost over for him.

Any outcome that doesn’t include Trump dead in a gutter with blood seeping into the sewer grating is just ‘wait until you see what he does tomorrow!’.

He is either vindictive, petulant, or self-serving. It was mentally ill. Ideally he should have been escorted back to his locked room and given more meds.
