British political economist Richard Murphy-Where are the presidents?

This sentiment has been posted recently on DU. It’s time for the former presidents to come together and speak to us and the world.

Not sure what it will take, at this point, to call him an enemy of the US.

Everyone's been making noise for years. All the barriers have folded or caved. SCOTUS, ECV, voters, Senate. What good are presidents going to do?

5. They could put out a unified message of "This is bad, people. Really bad. Seriously, be afraid."

Outside of Bush there are some very smart constitutional scholars in the bunch. They could be looking through the constitution and laws, etc. like a Penske racing crew chief for that little extra advantage.

Here's another thought. They could all get together and leverage their oath of office, military oaths and declare the orange convict and his henchmen domestic enemies and treat them as such. I don't think it's been attempted.

We need republicans to speak out as Cheney and Kinzinger have done. What is it gonna take? A lot of republicans have to know that this isn't a close call

He's a real son of a bitch but he's got more of a spine than Bush ever did.

so he has no credibility. I'm totally guessing but I think that some of the other thinking just might be that if enough people were stupid enough to vote for this disaster then they should pay the price for their vote. They did try to warn the country to no avail before election day 2024. Al Gore is busy working on trying to save our planet so that we can still have a planet that supports human life so that we'll continue to be able to fight about these other crucial issues. I can't say that I blame him. He tried to warn the country in 2000 and was unconstitutionally prevented from taking office by the Rehnquist 5's judicial coup.

This country would tell Michell Obama we need her. The country needs her. Would something like this move her personal needle? The whole one president at a time thing would then be less of an issue. Barring this, IMO we need a long ball hitter back out there. NOW. I would do everything in my power to aid in this. Generally this means money but not just.

Look at what Bernie was able to accomplish.

No former President is going to criticize the sitting President. To paraphrase George Carlin, "It's a small club, and you ain't in it."
