After yesterday's events in the White House, Haltbakk Bunkers, one of Norway's largest marine fuel companies, appears to have announced that it will no longer refuel American Navy vessels.

I am so ashamed of my country. If we, the people don't fight back, we deserve what the fascists have in store for us.

The suckers and losers who voted for Trump and the GOP thinking 2025 was only going to hurt black and brown people are finding out fast that being the working poor puts a target on their backs too.

Back to my movies. I cannot bear to watch any TV right now.

are you sure that watching movies helps you to help those who stand up to the bullies? Will only those who are hurt the most have to do the most? Don't we all have a stake in this fight? Especially on behalf of our children/grandchildren?

Maybe what's missing is organization. I think there are Democratic reps and senators (and Bernie) who are ready to lead but need large numbers of people behind them, and there are people ready to be directed, but don't see the direction forthcoming. I believe if something got started, the ranks would swell, and things have to be done legally and peacefully.

I think it's a human flaw to ignore problems until those problems grow to the point where they are impossible to ignore, at which point the problem takes the maximum amount of effort to fix and there's the least chance of success.

...there are scores of Americans willing to do what is necessary to fight this evil that has overtaken our nation. It is figuring out WHAT we should do that is stopping us. It feels like thin ice all around and the wrong move could result in disaster so we sit paralyzed waiting to figure it out.

.....longer, of course they should do this. When Trump is gone and we're trying to rebuild these relationships and our reputation in the world, we should have to ask for some things back and pay a price for them, even if it's just getting knocked down a peg and learning some humility.

https://www.regjeringen.no/en/aktuelt/statement-from-minister-of-defence-tore-o.-sandvik-on-recent-reports-concerning-naval-support/id3090130/

We have seen reports raising concerns about support for US Navy vessels in Norway. This is not in line with the Norwegian government’s policy. I can confirm that all requested support has been provided. The U.S. and Norway maintain a close and strong defense cooperation. American forces will continue to receive the supply and support they require from Norway.
