Yesterday, I had a chance to speak with a retired admiral who had worked with NATO

He told me point blank that the incident in the Oval Office on Friday was the worst foreign relations disaster this country has seen in years.

When has the leader of any country in the history of nations ever acted out so idiotically, in public or private? Trump made a total clown of himself and it was broadcast for all to see, for all eternity.... proving, if there was ever any doubt, he is the worst of the worst of the worst.

...doesn't hold a candle to that "meeting" in the revered Oval Office as far as hurting others. All our citizens from our founding until now were disrespected to their core. This pos needs to be stopped. Congress is the legal way. I'll call Moses Johnson and ask him to start impeachtree proceedings immediately.

He has total immunity and the entire US government and all US financial resources at his disposal.

He will do as much damage and steal as much as he can.
He is like a kid in a candy shop.

Yes the American just walk around oblivious.
Or actually love all the crimes Trump is committing.

"What sort of stupid offshoot timeline are we living in now?"

Ya, I've got a bad feeling on how this is going to end. Looks like I'm getting my taxes back; time to get a set of Foxfire books and start hitting rural thrift/contractor seconds stores and junk yards for tools, hardware, bicycle parts and other such useful cobbling together items.

I have enough engineering skills I think I should be able to design and make a light short distance solar powered/pedal "e-bike/car" that can double as a jitney or mini-truck if need be.
And I can teach my grandkids how to use hardware. I also know how to make water collectors and a still, and there's a lot of nopales cactus and aloe/agave varieties around.
Alcohol always becomes a barter commodity in poverty stricken areas due to its usefulness in cleaning, medicine, fuel, and small industry. Not to mention drink...

So I think we'll be somewhat okay after the initial shock.
