5. It looks like

a rolled up flag being held with his right hand. The two things to his right appear to be something connected to some bag behind his head. Maybe another flag or bag of some sort. I had to zoom in several times but, he doesn't appear to be holding a gun. If he was holding the barrel of a gun out of the window it would be extremely stupid for him to do considering the security measures in that town at that time. But, then again, those types have been known to be extremely stupid. So there's that.
