Putin was counting on Crumb The 1st

to get this deal done so the Russian predicament could stop deteriorating both economically and militarily. Crumb failed even though the ugly display at the White House gave Putin something to use in the media. There were likely big rewards promised to Crumb The 1st for making a deal happen. When Zelensky wouldn't bite Crumb The 1st saw his "big reward" slipping away.

There is of course the psycho desire he displays to be given a Nobel Peace Prize that plays into this also. But his rage and outburst, while planned, was real and also obviously connected to the refusal of Zelensky to do the bidding of Crumb The 1st back during the 2020 election period.

So much of our media played into the idea of it all being a "big win" for Putin when in fact, beyond the propaganda value, there was nothing that was going to keep his soldiers from dying, his hardware from being destroyed or help the financial picture get better quickly.

The result for Putin was not some "good thing" because it has united European countries stronger than anything seen in many decades and has diminished the standing, power and influence of his lapdog Crumb The 1st. Hardly some "big win" like some in the media proclaimed.

Putin went for a home-run but he sent someone to the plate who is most likely to whiff once he even waddles to the plate.

So they staged that spectacle so they could feebly whine to Putin look, see, I tried real hard, Zelenskyy was the jerk.

Not that Putin will care. I'm sure he likes the show of loyalty but he needed actual results and he got nothing or worse.

Thousands upon thousands of dead Russians would testify to that. If they weren't dead.

Trump is too clumsy, lacks social skills to have pulled this off successfully. The visuals--and audibles--broadcast worldwide have had, imo, exactly the opposite effect Trump and Putin thought they would. I think this whole episode was a big propaganda win for Zelenskyy and Ukraine.

And I wish media would stop calling it a heated exchange or argument as President Zelenskyy did NOT argue with them, instead maintained his composure while slobby & beardo attemped to bait him.

EPIC FAIL, SLOBBY!

His toadies continue to display a cluelessness.
The sane world senses an American fallout. We still are the market and have the weapons, but our trustworthiness as a people has been badly damaged. Seat of the pants leadership is disastrous.
Our madness at home will continue to cause angst and mounting frustrations as our structure really starts to fray.
The fact that republican leadership accepts elon's hammer throws and trump's choice of golf over problem solving has to cause worry.
It may take some time for the aloof to see the 2x4 coming, but it is bound to leave a lump.

some in the GQP may think this is all just something that can be "called back" and "put back in place" but they are going to find that this broken trust is not so easily toyed with.
