I had planned to celebrate 90k posts.
Instead I will celebrate all of you.
Thank you. You have made me laugh , made me think, made me cry and yes, at times you pissed me off! You are my extended family, dysfunctional at times but a family none the less.
I would love to say unequivocally that we will get through this whole and I can't. It is going to take time, a lot of it. We will have to rebuild and start all over again to make the world trust us.

He is the one with the two little girls now. One a year younger than yours.
He and his wife went back to the Police station to thank them a year after his fall. One officer said, son...we didn't think you would make it.

90,000 posts is an amazing number. I'm still inching my way toward 20,000. 
I hope we can get through this. I think we might. That's the best I can do right now.
One thing I'm sure of is that we all need each other more than ever right now. We are in uncharted territory, and there's not much we can rely on except each other. Let us all resolve to lift each other up as best we can as we grope our way through this wasteland.
I wish I could think of something inspiring and hopeful to say, but I keep coming up empty. I hate that, but that's how I feel right now. I'm usually a "glass half full" kind of person, but these days I'm having a harder time than usual maintaining that frame of mind. So I'll just say hang in there, as we all try to do the same!
