Good grief Mark Warner. Just STFU!

Mark Warner on Fox: "I may disagree with the president, but I respect the office of the president. I'm probably not gonna be jumping up applauding a lot, but I owe him his due as president. The president has made great, great progress on border crossings. That's something we ought to celebrate."

understand they have been conquered, and are just playing for time and hoping to be left alone (investigation-free) with their riches and retirements intact when their terms end. In other words, they're headed for the lifeboats as the ship of state sinks. Warner is surely smarter than this, this is odd behavior.

He doesn't need to puff up the accomplishments of the last, exhausting, several weeks.

Who is Sen. Warner seeking to convince on Fox with a milquetoast, spicy as oatmeal statement like that?

Why do you need to lean into the caveat of 'respecting the office of the President'. That is some pre-2016 thinking.

I stopped respecting "the office" once it got occupied by the Least-Qualified-Human-Ever. Seriously. Why respect a broken toilet? Why do we have to comment on the 'earthy notes' in our shit sandwich.

before the big speech, prefacing why perhaps he won't be standing up a lot. This way he gets to straddle the line. He thinks we won't notice

Has he noticed that the "great progress on border crossings" has evolved into a build up of forces at the border, with threats of bombing, or something? Apparently, we previously partnered with Mexico over the cartels, but now it's not stopping. It seems to me that we will be committing acts of war against Mexico.

And, the recent mention of thousands of migrants crossing into the US from Canada seems like a preface to something sinister. Nope, we don't owe trumpy a damned thing for the border, especially since trumpy preserved the issue just to get elected.
