Democrats have lost the thread.

I called my congress people and urged them to boycott or walk out of the president's address.

Instead they show up in pink with auction paddles

These people are not made for this fight. I urge you to let them know that you will back other candidates who are willing to fight.

Wha do you think about sitting quietly while a member of their party gets thrown out of the chamber because he spoke up against the lies Trump was spewing?

How does you think that looks to their democratic voters?

Some may argue that we can be both; however the conceding dialogue from leadership that we are the minority; that our options are limited; is a great disappointment.

The opposition is an enormous thorn in the side of the GOP; and insofar only a handful of Democrats are proving that they are the unified opposition and not simply the minority.

ANY Democrat voting to advance cabinet appointments: UNACCEPTABLE.

ANY Democrat voting to censure a colleague: UNACCEPTABLE.

Be the opposition…

Resist!

a focused message that speaks for the majority of Dems.
He/She should have a daily presentation (ala Gov Cuomo during
the Pandemic). This leader should lay out, daily, the
Democratic CounterMessage to all this Trump/Musk madness.
This leader should be able to have good rapport with all the factions
under the Democratic tent.

FWIW I recommend Gov. Tim Walz. at this time..
All factions of the Party I think, basically agree on a lot of the
basic issues- thus we need to downplay the disagreements,
emphasize the agreements- and agree to discipline ourselves
for the greater good.
Otherwise, this party is scattered like 10,000 cats in a room.

(FWIW On edit: Sen Chris Murphy would also be excellent!)

These people are not made for the big fighting. I know of this and, me, I have told them. You must do as I say as well. I urge you to let them know you will stand in back of other fighting candidates without paddles and pink garments and look for threads.
