From Daily Kos: Timothy Snyder Gives Some Excellent Advice About What We Can Do Now

Timothy Snyder, Yale professor and the author of On Tyranny, gave a Zoom talk last night to the organization Red, Wine, and Blue, and he had some very good ideas for how to fight back in these terrible times. Here’s some of his advice:

- Nothing about this will be easy or fast.

- Focus on supporting one or two candidates instead of dividing your efforts. Find candidates who share your vision, people who are pushing back, like AOC, Jamie Raskin, Jasmine Crockett.

3. I like Timothy Snyder.

Thought it was odd that Chris Murphy wasn't mentioned - I feel he has a great message and good delivery. He focuses on the Constitution and Separation of Powers. He also says what I have been saying. We may not have a country in 6 months if we don't d something. I like that he doesn't just act like he is running for the next election.

I also think Sheldon Whitehouse is really smart and a great explainer.

the fight of our lives and generations to come. Let's not disappoint those who died and fought for us to be free.

Timothy Snyder's On Tyranny is something to be read. And read again, valuable lessons.
