How an individual chooses to identify and live their life is not your business

It causes you no harm, has no impact on your life or your identity, and has nothing to do with you whatsoever.

There is no bathroom or sports team crisis happening to girls or women in this country.

This is a made up, non existent crisis invented by Republicans. It does not exist. Yes, there are a handful of loudmouthed, bigoted people who want to pretend this is an issue, but honestly, all you have to do is think for yourself. How many girls or women in your life are telling you their bathrooms or sports teams aren't safe? And are giving you actual experiences to claim such a thing and not something they "heard" on social media or elsewhere. When you realize the answer is zero it should give you clarity, if you are seeking it, that this is not an issue, never have been an issue, and it's ludicrous that some are making it an issue.

when you suggest that they might want to examine their own behavior.

Kids are at greater risk around clergy than trans people.

It's called Baptist Youth Minister or Catholic Priests. Why do they always get omitted and a free pass?

And I have yet to hear a proposed solution to "protect womens' spaces" by kicking trans-women out of them that doesn't force trans-men into them.

If you accept the premise that a trans-woman provides cover for male rapists to "sneak" into womens' bathrooms, forcing burly people with beards to use the womens' bathroom seems like a significantly bigger "risk". Then the rapist doesn't even need to dress up first. Likewise, should biological women on testosterone have to plan womens' sports? That seems more dangerous and unsportspersonlike than letting biological men taking estrogen or puberty blockers play them?

Although we would be included under regulations around performance enhancers, I suppose.

As far as the bathrooms go, my guess is when it gets to the point where baritones with beards are risking arrest to simply pee, and these cases are making the news, we will be excluded from all non-single-occupancy restrooms.

On the way to that point, it's useful for trans folks to familiarize themselves with self-defense laws in different states. Some states allow the use of deadly force in locations away from home when one's life is endangered.

We won't go quietly.

an answer searching for a problem that doesn’t exist. It always involves cruelty, bullying, and dehumanization. And of course using stunts involving so called “woke issues” as distraction such as Nancy Mace’s (among other’s)targeted treatment of Representative Sarah McBride with that ridiculous bathroom bill. It’s deplorable.
