Let's Not Get Our Hopes up About Any Shut Down

Republicans always change the rules when it suits them. Even if the GOP doesn’t get the 7 Dems they need, they could just get rid of the filibuster. Every time that people on our side place hope in the Republican Party or whether they care about public input, I just have to slap my head.

But, this has a poison pill giving the power of congress to the President when it comes to tariffs. A shut down may be needed to stop a worse problem.
