I cannot access my SS account.

Last night I printed some of the pages, but now I wish I had also taken pictures. Just a few minutes ago my husband was in the process of printing from his account and now his account is shut down. We got our payment a few days early.

1. I was worried earlier today when I kept receiving a 'Bad Request' message ...

... trying to log in to ssa.gov. I was using the Firefox browser. After multiple attempts I tried logging in from the Chrome browser, and was able to get in without issue. I don't know what's going on there, but it might be worthwhile to try another browser?

In all cases I was logging in via login.gov.

4. We both used the login. gov and I received the phone code.

I was supposedly logged in, but there were no information pages. My husband was on another computer with a different browser
and printing and then everything shut down. Last night Ezra Cline was talking about the goal of wrecking SS and then privatizing it. This was on Colbert. Is any one else having trouble?

6. That happened to me, too on one of my attempts.

In my case, it was when I logged in to 'login.gov', expecting to find links to soc sec, medicare, etc, but there was nothing. Then I tried going to the soc sec login page, where I tried to log in via 'login.gov', which is where I received the error message. After switching from Firefox to Chrome, I was able to get in without issue at ssa.gov, with login via login.gov. I haven't tried Firefox since, but maybe I will later.

I should add that my operating system is Linux, not Windows or Mac.

2. I just tried because of your post

I needed to set up my Login.gov account because they said that's what they're using now.
After a bit I was able to log into my SS account and all the correct information was there including when to expect my next payment.

7. Just logged in with login.gov option

Worked for me like it always does. Sent me at text with the one-time code.

8. I got in!!

Thank you all. I just kept trying. It took me almost 3 hours, but it finally happened. I thought is was so strange that I received the security code and it said I was signed in but could not access personal info. I seem to be living in panic mode these days.
