(52,360 posts)But, I think it was late November when I got off Amazon. Remarkably, it's been painless.

(79,058 posts)and don't plan to in the future. I'm not saying that to make anyone feel guilty. Heck, my kids use it.
I have seen less of their trucks in my very rural neighborhood. Far less, for example, since the Christmas season. I suspect there may be a connection.

Of course, that could be because of *me* not ordering anything from there.

(3,070 posts)Yes. There is one neighbor who seems to get daily deliveries, but for the most part it is quieter.

(190 posts)I live in a very Blue city in a very Red state and I don't think I'm going out on a limb saying that my neighborhood is the Bluest area of a Blue city.
My wife and I were doing spring clean-up in the yard this week and I watched an Amazon truck make 10 deliveries on my block.
So, unfortunately, no.

(24,216 posts)Seems like Amazon has begun jacking up rpices after they cornered the market on specialty items that you might not find easily locally.
Everything seems more expensive on Amazon now.
