Kennedy is advocating contracting measles OVER being vaccinated.

Yet another alarming reminder that RFK Jr. is a danger and a failure in his new position as head of HHS.

30,000,000 children likely not fully vaccinated yet x .001 = 30,000 needless deaths.

He needs to be in prison for crimes against humanity.

If you can remember one short paragraph (from Wikipedia, if you cannot remember it and need to find it again later) to throw back at assholes who spew this crap:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Measles

The measles virus can deplete previously acquired immune memory by killing cells that make antibodies, and thus weakens the immune system, which can cause deaths from other diseases.[42][43][44] Suppression of the immune system by measles lasts about two years and has been epidemiologically implicated in up to 90% of childhood deaths in third world countries, and historically may have caused rather more deaths in the United States, the UK and Denmark than were directly caused by measles.[94] Although the measles vaccine contains an attenuated strain, it does not deplete immune memory.[43]

I think she was like maybe 6-7 years old...
And I remember her telling me that she got all of those diseases one right after the other like whooping cough measles mumps whatever chicken pox I can't think of anything else. I know she didn't get polio they think they'd made a vaccine by that time ...early forties?

…when a clinic was held after hours at my school. Parents from all over lined up around the block with their kids.

I am just old enough to remember the last big epidemic (1954? ) — an earlier epidemic killed a friend’s mother when my friend was only 2 years old.

I'm ten years younger than your mother, and I and my classmates got almost every childhood disease in first and second grades. My first wife also got polio at about that same age and time.

Horrible that our parents had to live through all of those diseases though. My mom also got a heart murmur from drinking unpasteurized milk and whatever bacteria or virus went into the valves of her heart and she was in the hospital when she was 8 years old for almost a whole year

The entire administration should hold a giant measles party. Show the rest of us that they put actions where their mouths are.

Crutches and leg-braces. And did I mention totally blind. About my age. This would have been about 1962 or 1963.

My sibs and I got mumps (and everything else) in primary school, and it was miserable — but I had no idea those diseases could maim and kill you.

I swore to myself that if there were ever a vaccine for mumps and the rest that my children would get them. There were, and I did.

And now my first-born is 49 and thanks to Bobby Jr she is an anti-vaxxer and none of her children will ever get those injections.

RFK Jr should rot in jail — or maybe hell.

Measles parties were deemed a bad idea, before RFK jr. was even born.

What an absolute humiliation, for the Kennedy family. And what a brain-dead threat to public health, in what remains of our nation.
