Some of clearly don't understand how the Senate Democratic Caucus operates

Senator Schumer has led Senate Democrats for over eight years now.

He knows how things operate. He knows that if he cheeses off too many of his colleagues he is not going to be the Democratic Leader anymore. He wouldn't be doing what he is doing if he didn't have the support of the majority (or darn close to it) of the Democratic in the Senate.

If you are mad at what he is doing, perhaps you should direct your anger accordingly.

his decision is based on his ego and his desire to, above all else, be the Democratic leader.

Got it.

Think. Again.

with his view but I would highly doubt he has the majority of Dem caucus on board. Just my humble opinion.

Harry Reid played the long game and "held his powder" and we got a Republican Senate. I am sorry but Senator Shumer has been a failure as the Democratic Senate leader. He doesn't understand that the Republicans play for blood and he thinks that wordy speeches will make everything fine. AOC was spot on when she called Shumers statement a betrayal.
