The video, recorded by his wife Noor Abdalla, who is eight months pregnant, shows immigration agents confronting Khalil and informing him that he is ‘going to be under arrest’ and ordering him to ‘stop resisting’. The agents then handcuff Khalil and take him into a car, refusing to give Abdalla their names when she asks for them. Khalil, a legal US resident and a green card holder, was sent to an immigration detention centre in Louisiana and is being threatened with deportation over his participation in pro-Palestine protests at Columbia University

1. I first heard abducted and we don't know who and no one knows where...

An american citizen with green card. Then found out it was a protest last spring before green card. Now I am seeing badge and looked legit. I mean it is bullshit but the first day or so the way they painted this was ridiculous.... from what I am seeing at this point.

I am saying as far as arrests go, this was a pretty ... meh.

3. My understanding is that he has been moved several times to change the courts

under which he might be charged. Apparently this is not unusual procedures for ICE.

it presents differently. And ya... I also read this morning a 10 yr old child.... fucking CHILD just had BRAIN surgery, a CITIZEN of US, and being deported with her parents yesterday. Doctors are concerned with swelling. Worried about her life. So ya, .... what the fuck ever. A little snark?
