He simply is not a war time consigliere. He's a good guy who has done his job well until now, but let's face it, he may be the most boring public speaker ever, certainly not someone who could ever rally the troops. We need a dynamic personality to inspire us.

Honest, smart, energetic, motivated, challenging and inspirational, is a good starting point.

(10,836 posts)They are all the same. He will be in an empty Senate reading from a folder like he has just seen the words on the page for the first time, in a never ending drone. Calculating and doing the "smart" thing has always been his shtick. But he was not Dem leader for the Iraq war.

(525 posts)Schumer is removed from leadership. The "NO" Senators should be convening
right now to ask for his resignation from leadership.
Also, NOT A NICKLE MORE , in fundraising, until he is gone!
If Schumer tanks all fundraising, that is one foot out the door for him.
And, That is the best/quickest way to rehab the Dems national image..
