Gasoline prices back up

Last year, gas was at $3 a gallon. The price fell to $2.50 last month. Now it’s back to $3 in SW Ohio.

Instantaneous price checks don't work for gas. They go up and down very quickly for no particular reason, other than that they are near another station that has a lower/higher price. You need to look for trends in the same station/geographic area over time.

4. Just got gas 3.15 for regular it keeps bouncing daily.

7. Here in S.W. Florida it fluctuates between 2.80 & 3.30 a gallon

You have to time it just right to get the cheaper gas.

$3.09 a week ago; $3.21 yesterday.
And we live within an hour of 4 refineries, so supply & shipping are not factors.
Crude prices are up 3.3% in the last 5 market days.
