My grandpa worked for Winchester in New Haven,Ct for 40 years.

It was a good union job that allowed a working -class guy to put 6 kids through college...in Connecticut.
There's more to this than simple access to weapons.
PS- people didn't have a hard-on for semi-automatics during that entire time...they made stuff for Law enforcement and military.

millions of jerbs depend on burning carbon and depleting ozone. if we stop doing that to save the planet, that will cost jerbs.

millions of jerbs depend on maintaining our empire and selling weapons to our erstwhile allies. if we stop doing that to reduce the deficit, that will cost jerbs.

maybe some jerbs shouldn't exist anymore.

lethal weapons. Of course, it takes a "special" kind of person to be attracted to such weapons.

For years it has been a vacant falling apart old factory building. Now it's becoming apartments. I'm not sure if Yale owns it but it will probably house professors and grad students.
