I was wondering why Trump would release the JFK files.

Knowing he doesn't give a whit of interest in anyone named Kennedy, there had to be a reason.

I wonder if it's a distraction away from something he's trying to get away with. I'm sure upon release every news media agency in the country dedicated a part of it's reporting staff to going over the files page by page looking for a scoop on tomorrow's ledes.

Meanwhile, Trump and VP Musk swing their fire axe undisturbed. It's like throwing a steak to a guard dog to buy time.

He is trying to stir up more rhetorical arguments about what really happened or matters.

I think the narrative can already be seen from Maga meme shares in FB. The CIA was behind the assassination so that means the CIA is corrupt and ok to dismantle as dump seems fit.

Especially if there is something in those documents that will get people fired up.

And there have been rumors that Bush the Elder ordered the hit.

Oh, look, he dropped these files, no new info in them. Shrug. But what are you hiding in that corner, closet or under the blanket?
Seems like the msm is starting very slowly to do their job. Of course, after years of normalizing it, they suddenly realize they don't like what its doing.

Trump also enjoys support from Senator John Neely Kennedy

So there are at least two Kennedys he can negotiate with.
