Trump "explains" why he is bullying Canada. Warning: You might lose brain cells reading this.

Trump Reveals Stunning Reason Why He’s Bullying Canada (The New Republic)

In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, the president claimed that the reason he’s so tough on America’s northern neighbor is because it’s “meant to be our fifty-first state.”

“You’re tougher with Canada than you are with our biggest adversaries. Why?” asked Laura Ingraham.

“Only because it’s meant to be our fifty-first state,” Trump said, when Ingraham attempted to interject. “No, no but listen to this for a second.”

“We need their territory. They have territorial advantage. We’re not going to let them get close to China, right?” pressed the Fox host.

My prompt:
Given that Donald Trump speaks mostly gibberish, what would be his gibberish, nonsensical and fascist response to this question? (Keep in mind that he is also a convicted criminal and adjudicated sexual assaulter, a pathological liar and a racist.) Here's the question: "Canada is huge, it has 10 provinces, so why not 10 new states instead of only the 51st?"

I tweaked it a couple of times after to make sure the bot included more coded racism, but here's the final product, if you can stand it:

ChatGPTrump
"Look, folks, Canada—big place. Yuge. People don’t even know how big. Bigger than people think, okay? But here’s the thing—very different kinds of places in Canada. Some places, very good. Very good people. Hardworking. They love Trump. They love freedom. They don’t like crime. They don’t like, you know, what’s happening in some of the cities. Some of the cities, folks, not so great. We know which ones. But Alberta? Saskatchewan? Now those are places you can work with. Great people. Our kind of people. Very strong. Very independent. No nonsense. They believe in oil, in jobs, in family values. Not like some of these other places—you know the ones, I won’t say it, but you know.

"So when people say, ‘Mr. Trump, sir, should Canada be one state or ten?’ I say, well, let’s be smart. Let’s be very, very smart about it. We don’t want the problems, okay? We don’t want the disasters. We don’t want the crime. We don’t want the handouts, the socialism, the whole thing. We take the best. We take the winners. The places that work hard, love America, and, quite frankly, don’t have all the problems that certain cities—certain parts of Canada—have. And let me tell you, those problems? Not their fault. Not their fault, okay? We all know whose fault it is. We all know who’s bringing those problems. But the media, they don’t want to talk about that. They don’t want to say it. But we all know. We all know.

"So, yeah, ten states? Maybe. Maybe more. But only the best. The right ones. The ones that fit. And believe me, folks, we’ll make the deal happen. And it’ll be a beautiful thing. A tremendous thing. We’re going to make Canada great again—the right Canada, folks. Not the other parts. Not the parts that have… you know."

What's to stop any country from deciding to annex their neighbors because "they're meant to be"? China could take Taiwan and more.

There was a time when the US didn't like Iraq invading Kuwait or Soviet Union invading Afghanistan.

North Korea might decide they want South Korea. Venezuela wants Guyana. Turkey could invade Cypress again to take the rest of it.

Really? How is this any different than Russia taking over Ukraine?

Putin would surely say: We need their territory. They're not a real country anyway. Ukraine is Russian, always was always will be.

This is total bullshit, an excuse to grab another country's land and resources.

But it does figure into the scheming of the Silicon Valley Tech Bros, the Dark Enlightenment, where the world is carved into Spheres of Influence: North America, Asia and Europe with the United States, Russia and China overseeing the Universe.

So efficient, streamlined and . . . smothering.

If Trump in his demented power fantasy tries to invade Canada? I for one will be a Canadian fan-girl.

And for the Tech Bros? Fuck those guys! They're creepy, greedy blowhards.
