This is the OVERFLOW crowd in Greeley, Colorado.
Tonight, we expect even bigger crowds in Denver.
The American people are saying NO to authoritarianism and oligarchy.

(40,277 posts)In 1997 I spent three days in Greeley waiting for a load to go back east. Ended up accepting a heavy load of bird seed to San Francisco. From there I got a load to Chicago. Shortly after I quit that shitty job.

(1,958 posts)Of course they didn't show. They are all chicken shits. They know that people are seriously pissed. One sent a return letter saying he had nothing to say to a bunch of radical left wing lunatics.
Our former Republican governor did show up. Spoke rather eloquently on the importance of standing up to defend the Constitution. He received a very loud and extended ovation.
Several people that self identified as Republicans stood up and made a point of saying they had now become radical left wing lunatics. That got some laughs and applause.
We the People are going to have to fix this mess.

(16,459 posts)inside and outside. Wish I could have been there. Side note: The indoor portion was in the same gym where they had us gown up for graduation when I went back to school 30 some years ago, also where Biden spoke to SRO crowd back in '08. And the Michener Library (in the background of the outdoor shot) -- I spent hours and hours in there, sometimes just wandering the rows and picking out a book to peruse for an hour or two.
