http://www.politico.com/story/2012/12/obama-fiscal-cliff-85211.htmlMr President...when are you going to spend some of that capitol...looks like I wont have as much to spend myself next year since you are going to raise taxes on my already shitty income.
Under your proposal...
1. I will now have to battle to pay the heating bill.
2. Maybe have to cancel cable tv
3. Eat less healthier foods
4. Do less biz with local merchants.
5. Let the maintenance on my car slide
6. Make less donation to charitys
7. Re-evaluate auto and health insurance
8. Forget the dental work I have been needing.
9. Hope the fridge doesn't break down
and
10. Wont be able to donate to Democrats running for office in 2014.
Thank you Mr. President the excitement of Nov has been flushed down the toilet. I guess you decided to take the path of Im not running again so I face no consequences if I piss my base off instead of saying THANK YOU.

(37,305 posts)How can you be so adversely affected and make enough money to be cut?
Or are you complaining about the payroll tax? If so do you want your payments cut by that amount you prefer not to pay?

(2,163 posts)Obama proposed $1.2 trillion in new revenue, down from his previous offer of $1.4 trillion. And he offered $1.2 trillion in spending cuts, including $400 billion in entitlement savings, which is an increase of $50 billion

(23,671 posts)"The proposal is not a final offer, but the White House views it as a good offer that gets them close to reaching a deal because they have met Republicans more than halfway on spending and halfway on revenues, the source said."
So it will probably be an even bigger sell out by the time this is finalized.
