A disappointing day at the grocery.

I went to turn around the T***p magazines at the checkout and somebody had already done it.

Just for safety, they are now behind two Jimmy Carters and one National Geographic.

"To the bunker!"

if I could PLEASE at least wait until he left before I started rearranging things. The new guy shows up after I leave, so I just do it on my next visit.

I went to my VA appointment last week and noticed that the customary POTUS picture was missing and just an empty frame remained on the wall where Joe once was. I was gleeful.

Whenever a bookstore had a display island of some right-wing fuckwit's latest bucket of hate, I'd slowly intersperse the display with copies of Mein Kampf. Although these days I don't think they'd understand the insult. Probably just buy both with equal enthusiasm.

'Fridays,' they had this one skit where one of the cast did a segment on 'doo dads.' They were just another version of Chex party mix. Except he had the box upside down and it appeared as 'spap oop.' He was raving (for some reason I can't remember) about 'spap oop.' So, me being me, every time after that whenever I went to the store, I made sure to go down the snacks aisle and turned all the 'doo dads' boxes upside down to say, 'spap oop.' I eventually got busted by a kid that worked there. He actually said he saw that episode and began laughing. I just told him it was my present mission in life.

It used to be fun to be a goofball (which I was very good at). With today's present environment it's becoming harder and harder to laugh and smile at the little things because there's too many big things making our lives much more difficult.

Thanx so much, usonian. Your effort is so much appreciated!

Perhaps with the image editor. I'll go through my old computer art. Or start over.
Found it.

Old calculator gag:

710 77345

Requires a 7-segment display. Turn upside down. Works except for the four. Upside down h.

Back during Covid a local feed and seed had to pull the ivermectin off the shelf and put it behind the counter. To sell it only for its intended purpose. Don’t know how the did that.

we used to get boxes of Tampax and throw them into guys shopping carts when they weren't looking. That wouldn't work now in grocery markets where you have to unload your own shopping cart on to the conveyor.....
