If the USA selects another Trumpist as president after that, then both the UK and EU may think desperate times call for trusting each other. If the USA elects a Democrat (or even a democrat), then they'll go back to the previous status, ie the EU can't trust the UK not to elect some anti-EU idiot, so there would be no "Brenter". It'll need 2 Tory pro-EU leaders in a row, at least, and the death of the Reform UK party, before the EU would think about letting the UK back in.
