This week features a one-on-one interview with Gov. Gavin Newsom, Democratic governor of California and host of the new podcast This is Gavin Newsom.

This week's in-studio panel discussion will include John McWhorter, opinion writer at The New York Times and author of the new book Pronoun Trouble: The Story of Us in Seven Little Words; and Rikki Schlott, columnist at the New York Post and co-author of the new book The Canceling of the American Mind.

His recent 'Real Times' have been really enjoyable. Looking back over the last four shows, his guests have included Dana Carvey (his impersonations were wonderful!), David Sedaris, Gov. Josh Shapiro, Rahm Emanuel, Fareed Zakaria, Sam Stein, Ezra Klein, Chrystia Freeland, and Jon Tester.

And of course the New Rules segment is always fun, and his opening is usually good as well.
