Arizona Senator Mark Kelly has responded again to Elon Musk after the tech billionaire doubled down on an insult branding the Arizona senator – a decorated war hero – a “traitor” because he traveled to Ukraine to support wounded soldiers.

Kelly, who is also a former astronaut, told CNN that Musk was aligning himself with “a bunch of billionaires” with values that were “much closer to Russia.”

The world’s wealthiest man previously sparked criticism on both sides of the political aisle after describing Kelly as a “traitor” earlier this month, following the senator’s trip to Ukraine.

Kelly is responding to a ridiculous personal attack. Unfortunately for Musk, Kelly's character and stature as an American hero are known and not controversial.

In the years until 2028, many Democratic leaders should emerge. Kelly is one who could emerge as a potential nominee. Oddly, the Musk attacks may be what gives him more visability. Even if that doesn't happen, Kelly contrasts well with the pack of either extremely careless or extremely unAmerican people in the Trump arena.

13. I'm not so sure in this case

First of all, it's not at all in Mark's nature to get snarling like Musk does. He has his record, so he has nothing to prove to anyone, least of all to a sniveling coward like Musk. Mark is in fact a gentleman, and I think his keeping to this side of the fence to the junkyard does him credit in this case. In all the years, I've never known him to get really riled up, and he's not about to do it over someone so unworthy of respect as Musk.
