Elections, Climate Change, Patriot Act, Crime, Health Care, and the Fiscal Cliff

Dear Santa - I've actually been good this year. I hope you had a good year too. Anyway below is my Christmas Wish list. As you can see it is rather long but dude the US really needs your help. Thanks in advance for reading.


Have the US Federal Government be in charge of Federal elections from registration to voting. This would involve elections for the US Senate, US House, and US President. And make districting lines for House Seats drawn by a non-partisan group.

Repeal the Patriot Act. Nothing in that thing helps and it sucks money from our government.

Have the US stop giving oil, coal and gas companies any type of tax breaks, subsidies or grants. Only give tax breaks subsidies, and grants to companies and deal with renewable energy, solar, wind etc.

Pass assault gun and ammo ban and more federally universal standards on requirements of gun ownership. Legalize and tax weed. Recognize gay marriage on the federal level. End the privatization of prisons.

Include Mental Health with Obama Care. Continue to implement Obama Care. Work on getting a single-payer universal insurance added to Obama Care.

Get rid of charter schools or at least impose more regulations on them. These things are killing our public schools.

Implement a national minimum living wage. Something more along the lines of 15$ an hour not 7$ an hour.

Let the Bush Tax cuts expire for those over $250,000 and raise the capitol gains tax and close loop holes so that organization like the nfl pay taxes.

End our boots on the ground involvement in Afghanistan. There is no plan there never has been since day one on actually winning anything there. We had a chance but W squandered it on Iraq. It is sad as the people in Afghanistan deserve much better from the US then what we gave. But right now there is no agenda there so bring home our troops.

End the out sourcing of our military to private companies.

Fix the FCC. Fox News should not be allowed to be called News. And end the monopoly that has happened and continuing to happen with the newspaper corporations, tv stations, and radio stations.

And a Gator flag for my front yard.
