White House has shared a Studio Ghibli-style illustration of woman in tears during her arrest by ICE

The White House has shared a Studio Ghibli-style illustration of a real-life convicted drug dealer in tears during her arrest by federal immigration agents.

The image was posted on a White House social media account hosted by X, formerly Twitter, along with photographs of the arrest.

Newsweek has contacted the White House and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for comment via email.

purportedly done in the same style as Studio Ghibli. People started applying it to popular memes. And then someone doing White House social media applied it to an earlier propaganda post. Once again allying itself aesthetically with people who like to plunder, steal and hurt for the sake of a lulz.
