(28,493 posts)to listen to this, but if she says anything about paper checks, other than as you pointed out, they haven't sent them out for decades now. People who don't have a checking account get a debit card that gets refilled every month.
More to the point, if SS rules were changing in two weeks, I doubt this woman, this post on DU is a good source.
