I may be wrong on this, but I think the list only included countries that already had some form of tariff on the US. We didn't but we still got slapped with a 10% tariff because we refuse to take lower quality US beef that may be infected with mad cow disease. We produce so much beef that's it's ludicrous to expect us to import far lower quality, diseased beef from the US.

Australia only got hit with the 10% baseline tariff, but no "reciprocal" tariff because it has a trade deficit with the U.S.
The "reciprocal" tariffs are calculated based on the U.S. trade deficit with each country, but Australia is one of the few countries with which the U.S. has a trade surplus .
