Some of the posters on yahoo finance think that the Boomers are taking the hit.

The thing they do not seem to realize is that many of the Boomers no longer exist. Some that are still alive are quite old and no longer have money in the stock market.

Dummies they are.

I am a middle Boomer (born in mid-50's) and have no feet in the grave yet.

The oldest Boomers were born in 1946, so 79 years old now.

Do you not realize that?

My best friend died of cancer at the age of 35!

Not everyone lives to be old!

>>What is the average lifespan of a Boomer?
79 years
When the first Boomers were born, the average life expectancy was 63 years old. Today, Boomers can expect to live to almost 79 years.

******

Due to the disability I have, my time is technically up. I may have five years left and I'm not sure I want to live another five years with the disability I have.

The medication I was taking to keep me ambulatory is no longer available.

The KKKult running America these days is applauding this no doubt.

The fewer of me (and you), the better.

Its a shame that people seem to sometimes wish their parents will die so they can inherit their fictitious wealth, a wealth that is rarely there.

My family had next to nothing, sans an uncle that lived alone. He inherited the house he was living in when my grandmother died and had few bills. He received a total of SSA and a pension that was just over $700 a month. He died at the age of 71.

>>How many baby boomers have no retirement savings?
Baby boomers haven't saved enough money for retirement

Forty-three percent of 55- to 64-year-olds had no retirement savings at all in 2022, according to the Federal Reserve Board. The National Council on Aging estimated 17 million people over 65 are considered economically insecure. Jan 12, 2024. *no kidding*

I for one did not.

I DO NOT vote for Republicans. Never have and never will!

If you did, shame on you!
