Making a poster right after breakfast. It's a scortcher today, so wearing a big hat, cool clothes, sunscreen and sunglasses and bringing water. We're going early and my knees won't hold out for long, but we will make our voices heard and protest this monster.

Temps will be okay. It might be rainy. Our meeting place is by one of the rivers, and because of the rain the last several days, we might have to meet elsewhere, if the river is flooding.

My daughter suggested I try to find a spot away from the street, in case some madman drives into the people protesting.
I went to a protest supporting fired government workers and police protection was scanty. I saw a cop parked in a car parked a block from the protesters and asked him why the protesters didn't have protection nearer to them. He had no answer.

I never went to protests until the felon and miller locked kids in cages. Today will be my 4th. I never dreamed my retirement years would be like this.

SF Giants home opener yesterday, protesting to save our democracy today. It’s shaping up to be a heck of a weekend.

P.S. I just turned on the radio to listen while I sip my coffee and Wake Up Everybody (Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes) was playing. A sign?

My husband has been trying to get local veterans to go, so we'll see if any show. I have some friends who will be there.

The local news typically downplays turnouts for protests unless they are against the TMT on Mauna Kea. Many locals say they are just a bunch of seniors and LGBTQ and people with purple hair that go to these things.

The truth is that protests against the Felon and his stooges have been well attended and by a variety of people. We also get way more horn honking and waving to show us support than getting flipped off. A counter group protest is usually tiny if at all.
