Because claiming to have won his own tournaments is nothing new for Trump.

Two years ago, he declared he won a Club Championship at Trump International West Palm Beach even though he didn't play the first round. Later that year, Trump posted he won the Senior Club Championship at his club in Bedminster, N.J.

A year ago, he boasted of adding two more championships to his long list, saying he won the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship at his course near West Palm Beach.

That night, the 2024 Trump International Golf Club Most Improved Player was announced at the banquet.

The winner was ... Donald Trump.

What the writer added in
the president completed the Triple Crown of golf championships at Trump International West Palm Beach last weekend.

Or that he was reigning club champion AND Most Improved - if I read that correctly

My wife asked what I was giggling about and I read her this. 😆

There is usually a hefty fee for entering these tournaments and apparently they pay up even though they have zero chance of winning.

I’m guessing you play golf. Club championships are 2 day 36 hole deals against the field.

So the reigning champ at one of Trump’s clubs is playing with his son one day. The kid was at best teenaged. They find Trump standing over the kids drive. The champ points out that that’s his kid’s ball. Trump can’t admit it so he turns it around on the champ. Let’s play the back 9 for it. For what? The champ asks. For your championship.

9 holes. Not the wear and tear breaks etc of 2 days.

Trump cheats his ass off rolling balls over, giving himself 5 foot gimmes, probably just lying. He “wins” the back 9, shakes the guys hand, and walks into the club and tells the Pro to change the name on the plaque.

and when the players arrived Sunday morning Trump was atop the leaderboard even though he did not play. He was allowed to use his score from a recent Thursday round (which of course he manufactured). He proceeded to win the tournament (more massive cheating involved).
