Turn out was very good even though it was raw cold. Speakers were all eloquent and passionate. They even had some one signing the speech for the hearing impaired.
The one thing that was very telling: not one major network was coving this that I could see. No NBC, CBS, FOX, or ABC. No cable news either. I heard other people in the crowd make the same observation.

(6,327 posts)looked like a great turnout. DC's reporter was at the Washington monument and there wasn't much camera work or aerials, so it was hard to judge turnout. Still...

(3,724 posts)People lining the street for about a mile on both sides of Route 1. Lots of great signs and tons of honking supporters driving by.
A lot of positive energy.
So glad we went..
