Went to a protest at a Tesla dealership today in a city next to San Francisco

Protesters on both sides of street within a big intersection. I was told that there were about 300 of us. So many cars honking their car horns in support. A lady who had been there from the beginning told me that only 1 driver flipped them off driving in a beat up truck! Some cars passed and didn’t honk but the majority of cars did in support. I reused a sign board that I used in 2017 and put new pictures on it . I posted the Tesla logo with Nazi symbol. And the fight back like it’s 1776 pic. It was so good to be out there and seeing the turnout. We finally had to leave because the honking was getting to my adult autistic son but he lasted a good hour and everyone was very kind to him!

After I got home, I was reorganizing my car trunk and a neighbor was walking up our street and he and his daughter had attended the rally in San Francisco at the civic center and he said the turnout was also good. On the local news there were protests all over the Bay Area. I’m glad to see all over America that we aren’t going to sit back and let our country be destroyed and our money taken from us by a convicted bankrupt felon and an immigrant who is the one who needs to be deported!

I think maybe 2000-3000? Maybe more.

One thing I noticed is that it is mostly us older folk who showed up. It felt SO good to get out with other people of like mind. It would have been better if there were more young people. I was talking to my mom (she is 83) about this and I think it is because they (the young people) don't realize how abnormal everything this administration is doing.

I didn't see any counter protests, one guy driving by did a big thumbs down, but otherwise all the traffic was honking (in support I', assuming)

It was fun, I'm glad we went. My biggest worry is that he will use these protests to declare the insurrection act to gain more power. I think that is probably the plan.

This protest was very peaceful. I was also happy to see and hear my Representative speak. He is a good man, and I will definitely vote for him again. (Mike Thompson).

I would have liked to have done so, but I am somewhat home-bound and shy of people ever since Covid...

If you hold another protest there, I will have the perfect sound track for you in about three weeks!

Here a car manufacturer cannot own a dealership which is why Musk was trying to buy a seat on the state Supreme Court because he has a case to change that working its way through the courts.
