More people watch local news programs than the network news.

And I can say here in South Central PA, it was the top story on all the local news channels yesterday at 6:00 pm AND 11:00 pm and even in this morning's newscasts. And they spent a considerable amount of time on it as well. I was pleasantly surprised that they gave it as much attention as they did.
