Every time one of these shootings happens it creates more mental health patients.

I know this because I have spent all day yesterday and today on the phone with the school psychologist and other psych professionals trying to get help for my daughter. What is wrong with her? Well we had a horrible murder of a little girl walking to school in our community. After that my daughter has been almost impossible to get to go to school. She is petrified and has tantrums/meltdowns and screaming fits. On the phone yesterday and today I have been told repeatedly to "hurry up and get IN LINE because its going to be a big one". There has been a "Load" (school psych's words) of children needing therapy after the murder of that girl, and now they are expecting another huge influx of children too anxiety ridden to go to school. Oh and I'm sure the Aurora shooting, also in the Denver area, helped a bunch too.

Way to go America. Way to fucking go.
